Elkhorn City Pedestrian Plan

The ECAHC recently worked with the city, Kentucky Division of Forestry and Virginia Tech University to create a master cityscape and pedestrian plan.  The plan is in PDF and can be found right here.

Public Meetings for Whitewater Initiative

The Elkhorn City Area Heritage Council invites everyone interested in this project or in learning more about whitewater boating in the area to come to the Elkhorn City for one of two information sharing meetings.
The meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, April 14 at 3pm and Thursday, April 16 at 6pm in the E.C. Library at 150 East Main St.

Russell Fork Whitewater and Playpark Initiative Moving

The project kicked off in September, 2008, with promotion and marketing of the 2008 Russell Fork whitewater season and local events at the Gauley Festival, the world's largest whitewater event in Summersville, WV.
