ACT Theatre in downtown Elkhorn City opened the current production of Little Women last weekend and it is magnificent! Come see the literary characters of Louisa May Alcott adapted by Paulette Laufer and brought to life by ACT finest talent! Come and laugh, love and enjoy this wonderful story of family strength during the American Civil War.
ACT is a non-profit community theatre that functions on volunteerism. This production has logged in over 3000 hours of volunteer time and effort. Opening night had 97 audience members (we seat approx 100 in our black box theatre) in attendance from the entire region including Kentucky and Virginia, with two groups of Red Hat Ladies from Sycamore, KY and Grundy, VA.
The entire tech crew is from our educational program with Sound operator being 11 years old, Lighting Operator being 13 Years old and Stage Manager being 13 years old. And They never miss a beat!
“Better than anything we have ever seen” was written many times over on our exit survey forms!
Come and share in this magic!
