Natural Habitats

The Riverfront Park is home to many butterflies, birds, and fish. On the viewing deck behind the Caboose, tile signage identifies several native species.   Under the Cantrell Bridge, the river forms a pond where wild and domesticated ducks and geese forage along the riverbank. Birdhouses with nearby berry shrubs, native flowers favored by butterflies, and the clear river provide attractive natural habitats.
